Dr Ryan Law

 

Dr Ryan Law has over 20 years’ experience in planning and conducting projects aimed at enhancing Agri-Food Supply Chains, including all elements of production practices, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, processing, and meat quality. Ryan has an undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Ruminant Nutrition and Production from Queen’s University, Belfast. After nine years in research with the Agri-Food & Biosciences Institute as a Senior Scientific Officer, Ryan moved to a large meat processor, as the Head of Research and Development, where, as a senior executive, he delivered numerous large-scale projects. Key areas of expertise include ruminant nutrition, supply chain integration, meat quality, and technical innovations to improve business efficiency. He has previously established integrated supply chains for major retail business’ such as Sainsbury’s and The Co-op and has many senior industry contacts.

David McCarthy

David’s expertise in Business Development and Operations, gained over 15 years, significantly enhances Kingsbury Foods’ presence in the UAE. His background encompasses operations and brand development in the alcohol industry, management for a leading travel platform focusing on food and culinary experiences across Europe and North Africa, and staffing and training for international schools in East and Southeast Asia. David’s global experience, passion for new market strategy and international exports are invaluable assets to our team.

Mairead Mackle

Mairead is a values-based, multi-award-winning entrepreneur who owns and operates Tarasis Enterprises. Tarasis is a diverse suite of progressive businesses that create both community impact and innovative solutions for the future of living. Mairead’s business acumen is a tremendous asset to Kingsbury Wagyu and will be invaluable in sculpting future direction and growth. Mairead’s passion for using the power of her business to create a better world led to the establishment of two not for profits, “iCare Charity” focused on ‘kindness without limits’ and “Evolve” an educational platform supporting the social and economic empowerment of women.  She sits on the boards of several business and lobby groups. Mairead was awarded the Irish Tatler Entrepreneur of the year 2019 and Woman of the Year at the Natwest Everywoman Awards.

Gerald Mackle

As well as a wealth of experience in beef production, Gerald has a wealth of knowledge in running businesses, with several multiple sectorial enterprises being managed by himself. He has considerable practical experience of the meat industry, specializing in finishing beef cattle. Gerald has multiple contacts within the industry having the communication skills required to build relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
